Flipp4th ("the Game") is developed and published by the developer ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Data We Collect

We collect anonymous gameplay analytics to understand how players use the Game and to improve it. The specific events we track are:

Session: session started, session ended (with duration)
Gameplay: level started, level completed, level failed, level abandoned, level restarted, tutorial completed
Hints: hint used
Ads: rewarded ad prompt shown, ad impression, ad reward granted
Purchases: shop viewed, purchase started, purchase completed, purchase failed, purchase restored (product type and price only — never payment credentials)
Daily challenges: calendar viewed, daily completed
Notifications: permission requested, permission result, notification opened

Each event includes a session ID, session number, platform, and whether the device is native — no personally identifiable information.

The Game also stores data locally on your device — such as game progress, settings, and hint balance. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

No names, email addresses, or contact information
No location data
No photos, contacts, or device files
No IP addresses (IP anonymization is enabled)
No advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID) for analytics
No cross-app or cross-site tracking for analytics

Your analytics identity is a randomly generated string with no connection to your real identity. It cannot be used to identify you.

3. Why We Collect Data

We use analytics to:

Identify difficult or frustrating levels and improve them
Understand which features players enjoy
Fix bugs and improve stability
Make informed decisions about new content

Our legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The data is fully anonymous, minimal, and poses no risk to individuals.

4. Analytics Provider

We use Amplitude as our analytics processor. Amplitude receives only anonymous event data with IP anonymization enabled and no autocapture. No Session Replay or screen recording is used. For more information, see Amplitude's Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising

The Game shows opt-in rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob, which may use mediation partners — including Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and AppLovin — to serve ads. Rewarded ads are never forced — you choose to watch a short video in exchange for in-game hints. The ad is clearly labelled before you tap. These ad networks may collect device information to serve ads. On iOS, the Game will ask for your permission before allowing ad networks to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). You can decline without affecting your ability to play the Game — you will simply see less personalized ads.

6. In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store any payment information. We only record that a purchase occurred (product type and price) for analytics purposes.

The Game offers two types of purchases:

Remove Ads — a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes all advertisements. This purchase can be restored on any device using the same Apple ID or Google account via the "Restore Purchases" button in the shop.
Hint Packs — consumable purchases that add hints to your balance. Because consumable purchases are used immediately, they cannot be restored — this is a platform limitation of the App Store and Google Play, not a choice we make.

7. Your Choices

Opt out of analytics: You can disable analytics at any time in the Game's settings. This immediately stops all analytics tracking and resets your anonymous identity.
Ad tracking (iOS): You can change your App Tracking Transparency preference in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Ad tracking (Android): You can opt out of personalized ads in your device's Google Settings.

8. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months, after which it is automatically deleted from Amplitude's servers.

9. Data Deletion

Since we collect only anonymous data, it cannot be linked to you personally. If you wish to stop analytics collection, you can opt out at any time in the Game's settings. This immediately stops all tracking and resets your anonymous identity.

10. Children's Privacy

The Game is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
